Hi All,
I've been lurking after being a member of the group about 5 years ago.
You may also want to try http://www.sciplus.com/
They have No 68361 - a 77 x 194 x 3 mm first surface mirror for $3.75 and No 12493 - a 7 5/8" x 6 1/8" first surface mirror with some mounting rails for $3.75.
I got a nice first surface mirror about 12" x 12" out of an old microfilm reader.
I read about the detailed grinding of a level with interest. Any opinions on a level with an infinite radius - a straight section of tube with a bubble? It seems if you could get the bubble anywhere but one end, or even when it changed ends, you'd be really close to level.
Regards, Noell Wilson
