FWIW, you can join ION and download some number of articles (a dozen
annually?) as part of your subscription. The subscription
is not too expensive. After that you have to pay for articles. I
may consider it, but not yet. The articles from c.1950 are either not yet
scanned or incorrectly indexed on their web site. If you follow the steps to get
the article I mentioned, you get a broken link. Oh well. In any case, Richard
Langley has sent me a copy (thanks, Richard!). It's only tangentially related to
the topic I've been discussing but interesting in any case.
