Would there not be an operational advantage to have two vertical copies of the cos() scale
on that cos() sheet? Here is a case: you may start at the lower line of cot()
and want to multiply with a value of cos() found on its lower lines as well. For executing the graphical multiplication
cot()*cos() you would not have to move that cos() sheet all the way down since there is a repetition half way down
the page already.
The particuler advantage would be that the cos() sheet will not protrude as much below the lower rim of the cot() which might be a cumbersome in tight spaces.
A cheap solution for an inconvenienc maybe but worthwhile, I think. Actually, this modification is applicable for GL's original version, too.
