I just put My video "Byron Franklin Continous Radar Plot Technique" on "You tube"& "Face Book" It is a procedure to navigate and monitor a ship by Radar. The Radar Technique is in text(HO1310) and taught in marine Schools.
It requires a minimum of personel and equipment. It can be used in clear or if in fog as a backup to safe navigation. Radar fixes and special radar can be used at the same time. Even if you don't have radar it may be interesting.
