Thanks! Very interesting. Among other things, he tells us the accuracy of inertial systems, the subject which was intensively discussed once on this list. I mean how long could a 1960 submarine stay submerged before it lost its position. How easy it is to jam GPS was also a new thing that I learned from his presentation, and that a new eLORAN system is under development. I also like his "Good for the soul" argument in favor of Cel Nav:-) Alex. > The Future of Celestial Navigation: A British Viewpoint: > ftp://tycho.usno.navy.mil/pub/TimeAndNavigation/FutureOfCelestialNavigation_Steve.Bell.pdf > > -- > Andrés Ruiz > Navigational Algorithms > http://sites.google.com/site/navigationalalgorithms/ > > > : http://fer3.com/arc/m2.aspx?i=125036 > > >
