Experiments in GPS spoofing got some press coverage last summer. Counter-experiments have reportedly defeated those spoofing systems this summer: http://gpsworld.com/spoofer-and-detector-battle-of-the-titans-at-sea/. The article implies that these are moves in a game of chess. Maybe there will be new spoofing toys next year. And I still plan to sneak a spoofed Nautical Almanac aboard a yacht ... if I can manage to find anyone who intends to rely on celestial navigation for ocean navigation.
