It seems to me that the efforts to devise a minimum travel distance are something of a red herring; if the intent is to have a meeting then the desired goals are minimum travel cost and minimum travel time. An additional criterion, especially if families are involved, is the availability of things to do and sights to see. The minimum travel distance solution is apparently pointing to the Hudson's Bay region. I'd suggest that most list members would find locations near the Atlantic gateway cities of either Europe or North America (e.g., Paris, London, Toronto, New York, Boston, Chicago) to be cheapest in terms of both time and money. -- Paul Baechler N34�51' W086�33'
