I have decided to make a working model of my 2 minute star finder available for $23.00 by check. This model will be the same as my class room training aid.
I will send, a water proof base with the closest LATITUDE as you desired. The star disk and transfer disk for putting other bodies on the star disk. The center pin and cap. A Power Point presentation (that will work on your computer)C/D with description of the parts and how to use the model to solve and predict any future, past or present sky occurrences in terms of Local or GMT time, bearing, height, and names . the accuracy is the same as the 2102-D, and the scale allows the 2102-D horizon disks to be used with the 2 minute base for full coverage ALL LATITUDES. The model was designed and has with proven success to teach Navigation. The use of the star finder is for a mid-school level, So that inspection and using will give interest and understanding of the CELO system. Instead of a black box, it is as the real Earth, Celestial, and Horizon coordinate system working together. The 23. would be only mail in the US. (Out- side US. I would charge additional postage.)
Send check to Byron Franklin 109 Champlin PL N. Newport RI. 02840. Include your mail address.
