    Tony,

    A sextant ghost ring aperature will be the quickest way to get a scopeless sextant observation ready.  Fabricate out of white or black plastic. My dock neighbor made one that worked very well on his Freiberger. See diagram. A short plastic tube can also be fitted to make a sight tube if desired. After market sight tubes fit the Plath and Tamaya but may not fit the Freiberger because the V slot is different.
