This list is not meant for discussion of GPS at any length, except where it has a direct bearing on traditional navigation. you probably won't get a lot more answers here. I suggest the Garmin website (www.garmin.com) or the Usenet Newsgroup sci.geo.satellite-nav or the Joe Mehaffey website (www.joe.mehaffey.com). All three have tons of stuff on the GPS48.
