Happy new year! I will try to do the photos in the next few days, but have a full house of family so may be a few days.
Fact is, the BN is better than could be expected from basic maths principles. The human eye can “eye ball the graduations “ and the Vernia can up the accuracy of the final result.
Also, if you use , for routine Hc, assumed (AP) position with easy integers and therefore, easy ,accurate dots or lines, this will reduce errors from interpolation between lines. On this basis, the final result is via the Vernia and pretty accurate, I think. Certainly to within 1-5’.
I really think the BN will turn out to be the best, quickest method to get routine Hc. (under 1 minute and accurate to within 1-5 ‘)
