Hello: We can see Green Flashes here in San Diego, CA, all the time. There is even a beach restaurant in Pacific Beach with this name. In the lobby, they have many beautiful pictures of green flashes. Beach goers sit regularly in front of the restaurant with a glass of wine and observe the sun setting over the horizon far away in the Pacific Ocean. Being Californians, they applaud enthusiastically when a green flash occurs. Close by, the City erected a monument next to the beach explaining in simple but accurate terms the phenomenon. I knew there must be a blue flash shortly after the green one, but I never saw it. I thought it just me just too short to be observable. However, my son, an Air Force pilot, claims to have seen it from the air. Your pictures show me for the first one the existence of the Blue Flash - very beautiul photographs!
