In order to understand what a certain day and time of the moon calendar corresponds to on the time scale requires each time the additional information of the location with longitude and latitude (eventually also its altitude) and the criteria used for starting a new month. Imagine the problems you would face when booking tickets for an international trip based on the moon calendar only. Marcel
