This is particularly funny to me. When I was a cadet on a ship, we
broke down in the Straits of St. Lawrence and were towed to the town of
Sydney. While awaiting the tow boat, the mate on watch decided that the
cadets needed to be kept busy so we were asked to calculate the distance and an
ETA at 15 knots from Sydney, Canada to Sydney Australia. It took awhile
for us to figure the best way to go and then crunch all the numbers.
