I think you must be able to fit anything to anything if you try hard enough, especially with the help of Google.  We all know the moon landings were shot on a Hollywood back lot.  Do you think anyone down there might be interested in buying Rodney’s sextant?  I would have bought it myself if it had had big mirrors, but it hasn’t, and its arc isn’t certified to the same standard as my present 1941 one.  What price do you think he ought to ask?  He’s been advised £200-250.  I paid £161 for mine in 2004, so I would have thought about £180-200.  As you’re a yachtie, you might like to look at my one big attempt at cruising. http://sabre27tiki.wordpress.com/author/tiki219/  I’ve still got and sail TIKI, but haven’t been beyond Spurn Point for some years.  Yes, I find this site extremely relaxing; in fact I almost recommended it to a friend of mine who appears rather stressed out at the moment.  The trouble is it’s rather addictive.
