    Thank you Mr Reed, you have been most helpful! I think this is my last question. Supposing I wanted to determine my longitude using the lunar distance method.. I should use LMT= GMT + Lon/ 15° or LAT= GAT + Lon/15°? I am planning to do that on December 6th at night between 8 and 9 LMT, if the weather is good enough. The EoT values for that day are 9 min and 13 sec for 00 h and 9 min and 01 sec for 12 h. Which one of these two values I should use? I have to subtract or add it to GMT to get GAT? And what about LAT? The values for EoT would be the same? But then the two equation wouldn't give the exact same value for longitude? Consider I am going for a Moon- star shot.
