I wish all questions were so easy to answer. Pulled my 1984 Bowditch off the shelf and found HO 230 in the index. "H.O. Pub. No. 230 (Goetz), High Latitude Celestial Navigation Tables, designed in 1945 by Roy F. Goetz, was published by the U. S. Navy Hydrographic Office in 1946." [Two paragraphs describing the layout of the tables omitted. I will post them if anyone is interested.] "Only 400 of these tables were published. They were intended only for use in military aircraft operating beyond the latitude range of H.O. Pub. No. 218. Aftr Pub. No. 249 became available, H.O. Pub. No. 230 was canceled." -- --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ Navigation List archive: www.fer3.com/arc To post, email NavList@fer3.com To , email NavList-@fer3.com -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
