Yeah Doug, I heard you had moved from commercial work to some cushy job with NOAA. (Mostly posting because I really enjoy hearing that phrase). I only go to sea now to meet the minimum sea time requirements to maintain my CG ticket. One doesn't even have to do that anymore really. One can pay the CG $360.00, take a 1 day class and pass a test in lue of the sea time requirements now for renewal perposes.
