I just finished my "Intermediate Celestial Navigation" class. In my "Modern Celestial Navigation", which precedes this one, I teach latitude by noon Sun and longitude by calculator-based, modernized time sight. In this intermediate class, I have settled on the same Sun sights by calculator as well as generalized modern "Sumner" lines and in addition twilight sights by Pub.249 vol.1 emphasizing the 4-minute interval method which significantly reduces the work and yields a fast fix.
