Mike I had put together an Excel spreadsheet to calculate separation (with the help of the list, Alex and his Meesus book). The second part of the spreadsheet introduces the affect of refraction to take it from no-atmosphere to what you should measure with a sextant. I would be happy to provide you with the spreadsheet off-list and some of the supporting documents/formulas in MSW if you wish.
