Jules Verne gives the coordinates refered to the meridian of Paris 2? 20' east of Greenwitch. Reef Maria Theresa was reported by Cpt Tabor by 37?S, 151? 13' W (of Greenwitch) in 1843. Reef Ernest‑Legouv? is reported by the unknown Cpt of the French vesel "Ernest Legouv?", by 35? 12' S, 150? 40 W (of Greenwitch) in 1902. These reefs were reported and charted but never confirmed. See chart 5356 of the Service Hydrografique et Oc?anographique de la Marine (the French Navy hydrografic office). -- ___________________________________________________________ Sign-up for Ads Free at Mail.com http://promo.mail.com/adsfreejump.htm
