I've seen numerous ads on ebay.com for digitized out of print books on navigation, other topics too. They are usualy described as playable on various computers, desk tops,lap tops, smart phones too I believe. Haven't purchase sny of them, many from the UK. I would think that they certainly would save space. As o the quality of the typography,readibiliy,I don't know. Don't know anything of Kindle versions
