There are also several on German Ebay
for quite a while now. Link: http://www.ebay.de/itm/251151036392.
Not too cheap, I am afraid. Maybe you can negotiate, I don't know.
They are ex German Air Force ("BUNDESWEHR" engraved) and appear to be in a very good condition (I had one of those in the past through a different channel). Attention: 3 Volts outlet for the German (and UK ...) Kollsman variant with the pendulum mirror.

Good luck on finding the mount. The sextants used to be pretty common on ebay but they are rare. The mount was very rare and I waited many years before I found one on ebay. I suggest you place the sextant on your ebay notifications and hope that a mount eventually shows up. Or, you could visit the Reagan Library in California, break into Air Force One and steal the mount from the overhead. I have all the manuals for operation of the sextants and the mount. If you need a 28 volt power supply for using your sextant at home just go down to Home Depot and buy a water sprinkler system electric transformer which puts out 28 volts and is cheap. gl

Hello,
I am trying to mount my kollsman periscopic sextant in a similar kind of way,
I am missing a couple of parts,
-the ceiling mount
-the power supply.
-The manual.I have an A 28450 00 001 model sextant that was passed on to me by my dad!
Looks very similar to yours.Any info on it or where i could find parts would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, benjamin----------------------------------------------------------------
