Thanks for your reply. Yes, an adverage of multiple sights is better than a single. I do try to do 3 or 5 around noon and adverage them along with the time. I guess what I was asking was would not the sight around noon be more accurate for latitude than sights 15 or 20 minutes before and after noon?
