    In daylight, you have very few options.
    
    1. Use the Sun twice at different times. This causes no problems
    if you do not move. But this can be used when you move as well,
    and this is called a "running fix". You have to record your move
    (dead reconning) as precisely as you can, and then shift your
    earlier line of position by this amount. To get a fix at the time
    when the second Sun altitude was taken.
    
    2. Sometimes you can use the Moon as a second body, and
    (with extreme luck) the Venus:-) But it is really tricky, finding the
    Venus, when the Sun is visible.
