In RE. to Geoffery Kolbe: I was trained and authorized to repair the Link A-12 sextant by Mr. Marshall Bottom, of late at the firm of Weems and Plath in Annapolis MD, when I was there in 1975. Mr. Bottom serviced the instruments for the firm and was associated with P.V.H. Weems and E.A. Link. I purchased the stock of Link A-12 parts from him when his firm decided to relinquish repair of this instrument.
