I suggest that Ken Gebhart from Celestaire would be
able to field this one.

Hello Group,I recently bought an A-12 Link bubble sextant but the Instrument seems to be grossly out of adjustment (not surprisingly for a 67 year old instrument). Therefore the index error needs to be adjusted.
Would you know what kind of (hexagonal?) wrench is to be used to adjust the index mirror of a Link A-12 bubble sextant?
It looks like an hexagonal allen wrench is convenient. However metric keys do not seem to be adequate and SAE 1/8" seems too big and 1/16" too small!!Does anybody has any clue about this question?Jean-Philippe
