I just measured wood part of khamal, or rather similar part, as it was half a clothes peg I just measured one from same pack, result 7x8x40mm, I was not even close to right size.
now to line lenght, I adjusted line lenght so it covered sun image left to right
linelenght? no idea, I had to use right eye and left hand to hold khamal (otherwise wood was too wide)
height of eye was same as for most my observations ~1.5m (6m craft so feet at sealevel more or less).
