Sorry, but I'm not familiar with this method. I only noticed that the LL doesn't agree with what I generally encounter in the context of sunrise or sunset and I wasn't sure whether there was somewhere a typo or not. For 1st July 2009 at 17N and 129E I obtain with my tool the following setting times using Sinclair's refraction formula (don't take the seconds too seriously): LL@30m: 9:59:20 UT UL@30m: 10:01:44 UT This should correspond to "normal" atmospheric conditions. I hope I got it correct. Marcel
