If I use the given LD's (generated with refraction) and solve assuming there is no refraction, I get:

34:48:53
77:05:15
Agreeing quite well with your lat, but trading time and long.
But, the problem is now inconsistent and I'm not sure the solution means anything.
"Thus I get:
Time = 03h 28m 02s
Lat = N 34d 52.1'
Lon = W 74d 55.3'"
