Despite Paul Hirose's earlier advice:
"a shared account ... would violate the Wikipedia rules:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Username#Sharing_accounts
I don't think an individual contributing under the name of a Google
discussion group would be a good idea either. A better way to establish
credibility is via your Wikipedia user page, or the Discussion section
of the article you're editing. Include some links to your writings on
the subject and you'll get credibility. "

George seems hell-bent on doing just this, again proposing:
"What's the best
way for that to be done, collectively, by this list? We're as clueful a body
as any to apply our wisdom to the job. It seems counterproductive for Renee
to make a change, then another of us to follow it up by another piecemeal
edit process, and so on. Wouldn't it be better for us, on this list, to
sh out a text we all can agree on, if that's possible, and then Renee,
who has shown herself to be so adept, can act as our ambassador and make the
change on the list's behalf. Does that make sense? Would anyone like to set
the ball rolling?"

Why don't you just do it yourself, George? Do as Frank suggests:
"That's the way to do it. Just dive right in.
"
For a self-proclaimed:
"... one notorious for his own pedantry
"
and someone so keen, indeed eager, to criticise anything others have created, why are you so reluctant to create anything of your own?
