I believe the moon SD in the daily pages of the NA is the geocentric
(or equivalently, 0 altitude) value at 1200UT, which is all the NA can
really do, since it doesn't know your location.

The effect of SD on altitude is included in the moon altitude
adjustment tables at the back of the NA. (Thus, part of the adjustment
depends on both altitude and HP.)

I have seen "adjustments" to NA values of up to 0.1 min to minimize
maximum error when using the given interpolation tables, but where
might the 0.3 min differences that Frank metions be?
