I bought this book looking for lunar algorithms as well, but there is very little info along those lines. The book is mainly full of tables, and the explanation of the tables is lacking. Still, it is the only book available on the topic! Have you looked at http://www.celestaire.com/catalog/products/5510.html - they have a book on lunars - TABLES FOR CLEARING THE LUNAR DISTANCE by Bruce Stark.
