But I am not a lawyer. Wolfgang, if memory serves, you are a lawyer, so perhaps you can distinguish shades of threat that I cannot see. If George did not intend to threaten me with legal action, he can simply say so himself and it help clear things up. But I want you to understand that I feel great pity for George in this circumstance, in addition to very real annoyance. Whoever suggested to him that he should threaten a libel suit was leading him badly astray...
