I have to correct my perevious post, the sextant available on ebay was misidentified as an MA-2 bubble sextant but looking at the picture clearly shows that it is the much rarer and desirable MA-1 pendulous mirror type. You can see that there is no bubble chamber that would be mounted on top of an MA-2. Look at : http://home.earthlink.net/%7Es543t-24dst/airnav/index.html to see for yourself. This is a desirable sextant bcause there is no bubble chamber so this eliminates the common problem of the bubble chamber losing its fluid and becoming useless. It is also desirable because you get a clear line to use for the reference point rather than the less precise middle of the bubble.
