    What George has written below is incredibly true. Our steering compass
    has been adjusted, so it is accurate, however when I use our hand
    bearing compass for fixes, I have to climb as high above the transom
    that I can, so that an accurate reading can be obtained.
    
    Otherwise, it's anything up to 20 degrees out!
