    Yeah. Daylight Saving is an unholy abomination.  It fades the curtains (that extra hour of sunlight each day adds up, you know) and baffles the cows.

    On the other hand, it makes twilight sailing (after work) possible ... one of the nicest series of races of the year here depends on it. Its mainly a social sail; one hand on the tiller, the other clutching a drink, but its still good training as you are encouraged to try out tactics that may or not work, and nobody minds too much if they don't. If they do then they can be refined for more serious races. Afterwards a BBQ and more drinks and tall tales as the day fades into night.  Its held on a Friday night; best way I know to start the weekend.
