The enclosed note from a friend prompts me to ask if anyone has any concrete information on Micrologic in general (they seem to be in Chapter 7 proceedings - effectively dead) and the Admiral model GPS in particular. Rick S/V One With The Wind, Baba 35 enc. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Well, My Micrologic Admiral crapped out this weekend as I feared it might. It worked fine on Saturday but when I tried to fire it up on sunday it was lost. It can see the satalites but is unable to communicate with them. I had tried to talk to micrologic about this early this summere but they are out of business. I had to actually find my way home the old fashioned way this weekend. Does anyone know if the unit may be upgraded or not? If not I have to find a unit to fit the hole the Micrologic will leave in my teak instrument panel which I just know will be expensive. $$$$$ I hope the rest of you fared better than I on this issue.
