    David and Frank A.,

To be clear, I did not build the octant pictured in my last post. I just lifted that image from Rodger's website. And no, I haven't seen a link to the CAD program the author uses. My guess is it's a professional piece of software which costs a pretty penny. After all, Mr. Farley is an aerospace engineer. He did have this to say on his website: "I used to have many more design programs available for download, but unfortunately this is a very dangerous world now.  Innocent aircraft design programs that were for the experimental aircraft hobbist can be misused by nefarious misguided individuals, organizations, and countries (you know who you are).  Too bad because I can't share it with the EAA or other hobby organizations." But he does give a link to a free CAD program.
