I took these pictures in the military museum located in Old Sacramento, California. Can anyone identify the sextant and the watch? Many thanks in advance!
The watch description begins with: Watch Navigation (ground speed), A-8.
The face of the clock is labeled with 10 (or 0?) representing the full circle.
The sextant caption reads:
Naval Sextant (1936), Navigational Instrument used to plot course by "shooting the stars" or measuring the sun's position (Obsolete by the early 1970s.)
