Hey, why don't y'all come out here to SF and hold the meeting before/after the America's Cup in Nov 2012! Instead of hanging around those musty old ships and dusty old instruments in Mystic, you could experience some high tech for a change! Pic attached of Oracle helmsman sporting his wearable computer system with heads-up display sure to be in Volume II of Taking the Stars! ;-)

*I am of course mostly kidding, but if there are other NavList members here in the bay area who are interested, it might actually be practical as several possible venues come quickly to mind. Or perhaps we could have a smaller gathering of folks who are near SF sometime?
