    Re: Navigation journals on CD?
    From: Byron Franklin
    Date: 2009 Oct 7, 10:17 -0700

I have 2 or more articles on the disk, Not on Celo, but on Piloting. I
was Ernest Brown's at sea arm for many years. He sent me things that
he could not evaluate in his job, as HO, Navigation Scientist on land.
One on the CD The Navigation Planning I presented to the Journal of
the Institute of Navigation in Washington State. 1972. It also was in
other foreign publications. The other Franklin Piloting. was in
HO9, QM chief course book several magazines, and taught in many
Navigation Schools. I have the CD and enjoy many of the articles. I
always consider Piloting the most important job for knowledge, speed,
& accuracy. Errors can be made in Celo but not in Piloting waters.
