Hi folks, does anyone know the derivation of this statement? It is from "Learning To Navigate" by Weems and Eberle, pg 45 circa 1943. Thanks much.

Yes, and throw in a flat Bygrave and a long term almanac and you have very compact complete navigation system, not dependent on electrons in any way.
