Mike Daly is simply winding us up, playing games in order to extract
sources and information
it has taken some of us years to collect - in my own case 15 years and many
thousands of £.
For example the Royal Society charged me £94 (invoice no 400478) for a
photograph of the artist's wash drawing of the 1742 engraving which
accompanied the Newton letter to Halley.
An eye opener Mike.
Daly does not seem to know much about either Hooke's single mirrored
instrument
because he has drawn the horizon rays travelling straight through a solid
mirror
or the principles of double reflection - he has drawn two separate rays
entering the telescope on Newton's instrument

I have just spent an interesting afternoon downloading all Daly's Wikipedia articles and will watch with interest to see how long he takes to alter/update them.
