Yes, I wish. I wish the stars to be called CelNav.
Waves and sargassos I don't with to be called Cel nav.

I agree. One can do DR without a compass, using the stars.

No. I claim (based on what I know)
that there was NO way to determine
longitude,
with ANY precision,
Even with 180d precision (that is to determine, in which hemisphere
you are) unless you use "Western methods", pioneered by
Alexandria Greeks in III cent BC based on the Moon.

Then forgotten for 1500 years at least (according to Herbert Prinz)
And then revived in XVIII century. By Westren Culture.
