    Ah, yes, Mintaka, whose declination is essentially
    zero. Another use for Mintaka is as a compass:  it
    rises almost exactly in the east (090) and sets almost
    exactly in the west (270), no matter what your
    position may be (so long as you can see it, of
    course).
