I've thoroughly enjoyed all the "GPS Accuracy Now" discussion. Yeah, I'm ready to get back to non-electronic navigation. Hey Dan, on the next SS leg make sure you tell us to pop the AA batteries out of our GPS before we start the virtual cruise. My old math & chem teacher used to have us check our calculators at the door before a test. He allowed slip-sticks though. He wanted us to think empirically which is kind of what the navigator does. Just get close enough. To quote Jimmy Buffet, "Frank Bama (his fictitious alterego) says, 'A good navigator never knows where he's at and when he gets there, he's still not sure.'
