    Um...I meant the correction is rounded to whole MINUTES.

    The entering argument is rounded to whole degrees.

    Possibly the Air Almanac since it gives corrections rounded to whole degrees. The table is easy to memorize, five above ten, four above twelve, three above sixteen, two above twenty one, one above thirty three and zero above sixty three. This would also explain why he applys semidiameter separately instead of using the combined table in the NA.

    Thanks Gary...but I still confused. The altitude correction for Stars in the NA at about 60 degrees app. alt. is -0.6'. Where did Sam get +1'?
