    Old maps
    From: Marcel Tschudin
    Date: 2009 May 5, 17:01 +0300

Without having something to celebrate, I just received this book

    http://books.google.com/books?id=5iLG2D5eBswC&dq=Maps+of+the+Ancient+Sea+Kings&printsec=frontcover&source=bn&hl=de&ei=LkMAStb8IteLsAbqr7yoBg&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum=4#PPA2,M1
as a present. I thought that it may actually also be of interest to
some member of NavList since it refers to old maps claiming to have an
accuracy beyond the nautical capabilities of medieval times but having
    been drawn long time before.

Looking at the Wikipedia information on the author
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Hapgood suggests however that the
content should be read with some caution.
