Ouch. No broadband internet at your place, huh? That definitely makes
things more difficult.
Incidentally, I agree that "pdf" files would be a better solution today.
The reason I was amazed when you refered to that as 'normal' is because things
have changed so fast. No doubt when the librarians and web site
designers at Mystic Seaport started assembling their site, the layout and
format they chose were state of the art... cutting edge... for 1996.
